By Boat
The Foveaux Express is a scheduled service
for passengers and light freight from Stewart Island
to Bluff with Charters by arrangement. It has wheel
chair facilities and will deliver hunting and other
parties direct from Bluff to your out of the way
landing.
Fares are from $45.00 One Way or $84.00 Return for
adults. Children from $22.50 One Way or $42.00
Return Under 5 free.
Due to
the remoteness of the region and weather conditions
scheduling is subject to change. There are other
charter services.
Once on
the Island there are some local buses and taxis,
rental cars, motor scooters, mountain bikes, kayaks,
and motor boats.
