Breakers Motel is Whangamata's newest motel,
completed in late 1999. This attractive two story
building resembles a "wave" and
consists of 20 modern units located on
harbour side reserve at the northern end of town.
Located just minutes walk to beach and shops,
close to local cafes, restaurants and the world
famous Pinky's Bar and Grill, it is a unique
getaway on the Coromandel Peninsula of New
Zealand.
Whangamata is recognised as being among the most
popular beach resorts in New Zealand and is
famous for its spectacular ocean beach which
provides some of the best surfing breaks, yet
safe swimming. It is also popular for
recreational fishing and diving.
The Coromandel Forest Park and Tairua Forest
bordering the town provides many outdoor
experiences including short walks, mountain bike

bedroom units consist of a queensize bed in the
bedroom and two singles in the lounge.
Should you require a kingsize bed in the lounge

(all with their own spa pools on their private
