What can I expect?
You can get the normal range of very cheap (from £20) to very expensive, and a wide variety of international (and in-between-priced) babes. As a huge city, London obviously has a lot to offer – you can find what you want though it might take you a while! One of the best bets is to find websites for escorts or private ladies (or men/transsexuals, whatever you prefer) because they are serious, interested and you wont get arrested. Due to the high number of drug addicts and illegally imported sex workers, there are a lot of unsatisfied (foreign) customers in London. It is a lot harder to find anal sex here than other places.

Where can I find girls?
For reasonably priced and good quality girls, look in the back of local newspapers for escort advertisements. For total UK coverage, try the Daily Sport. Girls also leave their business cards in phone boxes, but watch out because none of them have their real photo on them. A walk through Soho or Shepards Market, behind the Hilton on Park Lane will take you past a few doors with red or blue lights on, which indicate a brothel, or there will be a door slightly ajar with a sign, for example saying “Young Model 36DD”. The top end of Market Mews, near the pedestrian square area behind the Curzon cinema also has a good reputation.

What can I expect to pay?
On average for full sex you will pay £60 for half an hour, or £80 – £100 for a full hour. This is standard for brothels, though you can find a lot more expensive (and classy) girls here. They can charge up to £300 an hour (or more) and provide you with a discerning woman for conversation, dinner and normally excellent sex. Normal rules still apply – you get what you pay for. Street Walkers.
You can find these at Kings Cross, Sussex Gardens or Commercial Street though not of the highest quality and often drug addicts. There are cameras around Kings Cross.

Soho.
Soho is the seediest red light district, and ended up as such by the illegality of all things sexual in England. It is run by mafia-style criminals who are out to con tourists out of money any way they can. You will walk in to the flats along the street, and for £20 – £40 you get a quick 10 or 15 minute session. There are a lot of trafficked women around here, who can barely speak English, so be aware – the illegal (and often unwanted) movement of women for the European sex trade is in full swing.

Rip offs - Soho Strip Clubs.
Soho strip clubs (called “clip joints”) have a notorious reputation for being dodgy, so if you do venture into this part of town looking for fun, beware! The standard problem is being lured into the basement of a club by an attractive woman asking you to join her for a (paid) drink, then when you try to leave, an enormous bill (often hundreds of pounds) lands on your lap. You may not have even spied a naked breast. This woman sits by you and talks to you, or watches a show with you. Pretty expensive conversation, and usually low quality at that. You have been warned. These are nothing but rip offs, they serve no other purpose.

Some people have found it useful when being threatened by bouncers to let them know if they hurt you, you will call the police – sometimes this works as they don’t want trouble and will try to get you out the door quickly. It is best to avoid these places, and ask a local you trust (perhaps a hotel employee) for the very few proper strip clubs that exist around here.

West London girls are well known for getting their daily bread from tourists – and we all know what this means – overpriced goods and services. Soho is well known as the worst end of town. It is generally accepted that a lot of the girls here are bored, clock watchers, and not really interested in getting repeat business, but of course this is never set in stone, and girls change regularly. Some high ranking government officials have been caught with their pants down around these areas in the past, so it can’t be all that bad!

Escort Tricks.
A trick used by some escorts use is to ask for the money up front, then say they have to go and give it to their drivers. When you look alarmed, they reassure you they are leaving their purse with you and off they go. Never to return! And when you look inside the purse, you find there is nothing in it, and it’s a cheap plastic handbag that nobody would worry about losing. This is relatively rare but does happen.

Is it legal?
Yes and no. Police still regularly set traps for men and women, then fine them for solicitation. Prostitution laws are in the process of being revised, with some areas being designated “tolerance zones”. This is seen as avoidance of decriminalising. England still has a very old fashioned view to prostitution, with the general consensus that these things are best kept out of sight, so they can pretend that it doesn’t exist. It is a crime to curb crawl here as well, so if you do this it will be you, not the prostitute, who gets taken home in a paddy wagon. Hardcore pornography has just become legal in recent years, and is only available in licensed sex shops.
