Germany

The Federal Republic of Germany is a medium sized industrial country located in Central Europe with a population of over 82 million. It is a member of the European Union bordering both the North Sea and Baltic Seas. (Germany is locally known as Bundesrepublik Deutschland.)

Rothenburg in Bavaria represents a typical medieval village and is one of the single most photographed towns all of Germany. In the center left is Siebers Tower, which was the southern entrance to town in the 13th century. To the right is the the Kobolzeller Gate.
