A shopping experience in
Berlin will satisfy the most demanding of tastes. For the young or
not so young, there are treasures to be found in the upmarket stores,
malls and regional markets. To keep up your energy along the way there
are many cafe's where you can sample the variety of excellent German
Cuisine.

number of large department stores/malls with tax-free shopping for
Non-EU Citizens, (ask before purchase).>

8pm Weekdays-4pm Saturdays.
Known locally as Ku'damm, a renowned West Berlin thoroughfare with it's
bear sculptures, fine selection of shops, an urban park and zoo,
restaurants (a Hard Rock Cafe) and nightclubs.
Kaufhaus des Westens
Referred to as KaDeWe, one of
the world's largest Department stores reputed for it's excellent variety
of mouth-watering delicacies in addition to the latest fashions, cosmetics, jewellery, music and
more.
Hackeschen Hoefe
A restored Architectural
building now home to a variety of cafe's, cinemas, nightclubs, shops,
theatres and more. It is a commercial shopping Centre in East
Berlin and located next to a number of Jewish Memorials which makes it an
adventurous place for the curious traveller.
Tools & Gallery
A designer fashion shop on Rosenthaler Strasse with a range from casual through
to elegant formal wear for men and women.
Europa Centre
A modern shopping complex/mall with three floors of the latest trendy
fashions in jewellery, shoes, and perfumes, food and entertainment! Near
the famous Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.
Johanna Petzoldt
A unique shop
for German Souvenirs. Specialists in German arts and handicrafts, wooden
toys, dolls
and a variety of other interesting craftworks.
Lisa D.
1960's avant-garde fashion style for women, custom-designed clothing
from Austrian born designer Lisa D. is renowned as funky, bold,
unrestrained or slightly insane with bright/warm colours while remaining
uniquely feminine.

Ankona Platz Market
Brick-a-brack, clothing, furniture and relax
in an AnkonaPlatz Cafe.
Tiergarten S-Bahn Flea Market
A fashionable market, popular
with tourists held on weekend mornings next to Tiergarten's Subway
Station. You will find a wide variety of items including unique buttons,
handcrafts, jewellery, music, food and funky fashions.
Boghagener Platz
Historic relics as local
Berliner's selling collections and unwanted brick-a-brack.
Heidestr
Antiques and collectables including: Furniture,
porcelain, books, records and model cars. A small undercover flea market in old
railway sheds. Best to browse in the morning as traders begin leaving
after noon.
Moritzplatz
One mans junk is another mans fortune, maybe find some treasure amid
trash and loads of bargains.
