As to the best time to
visit, it depends on your interests.
The winters are cool to
freezing, but this is the time for winter sports, in spring, the
green of the new seasons growth is magical and from mid November to
January, the flowers bloom, with the fragrances wafting over wide
areas.
All regions are unique,
but in general terms, the east becomes dry over summer, often the countryside
browns in the dry heat while the west stays green.
